Your glass will be half-full tomorrow. Next weekend there will be many hours during which your glass will be mostly empty. A week from Tuesday you’re going to forget your glass at home and show up glassless at an important social function.

Don’t bother wishing for a full glass for Christmas. The glass fairy is displeased with your recent performance at the 2005 Glass Festival, and will not be granting any of your wishes for at least seven years. We told you to study for the festival, but no, you didn’t listen to us. Now you’ve learned your lesson, though. Right?
