Typical Conversation About Things

“Have you ever seen a snow mountain that tall before?”

“Never. Have you ever seen a pile of pumpkins that short before?”

“Only once, back in the 80′s. That was a tiny little pile of pumpkins.”

“Was it 1986?”

“Of course. But I bet that you can’t guess where it was.”

“In a snow cave within a giant snow mountain?”

“No. It was next to a hamburger stand.”

“Oh. Yeah, that makes more sense. But tricky, you are, with your hamburger stand.”

“Thank you. It was tilted on its side away from the pumpkins.”

“Well, yeah, that goes without saying. By the way, how’s your piece of paper that I gave you last week?”

“I’ve been feeding it every day. It’s grown quite a bit. See?”

“Oh my. Now that’s some impressive paper. Don’t you think you should put it on a diet soon?”

“I thought I could ride it down the hill when we get to the top.”

“I celebrate your thoughtfulness.”
